Your child is due to start Icknield High School on Friday 3rd September.

Please ensure the following are completed before then:-

  1. 1. Lateral Flow Test Consent Form - this MUST be completed to say whether you do/do not consent to the tests (testing will be on Wednesday 1st September and a timetable will be emailed to you nearer the date)

  1. 2. Parent Information Evening - on Tuesday 7th September we will have an Information Evening for parents of all Year 7 Students. Details will again be confirmed prior to the event. Please complete this form to tell us which session you will attend

  1. 4. Excellence Awards - students should try as many of the Curriculum Challenges as possible over the summer holidays, we would recommend no more than one challenge is completed per week so the students can enjoy their break too.

  1. 5. Uniform - we have a very strict uniform policy. Please ensure you read our guidance carefully and your child attends wearing the correct uniform on the first day


If there are any changes made to these arrangements for September we will email you and the school website will be updated.

GCSE Result’s Day Summer 2021 – Thursday 12th August 2021

Students can collect their results from the school dining room at the following times:

Surnames A to C: from 10:00am to 10:30am

Surnames D to J: from 10:30am to 11:00am

Surnames K to O: from 11:00am to 11:30am

Surnames P to Z: from 11:30am to 12:00pm.

Students will enter from the school hall side of the dining room, collect their results and leave via main reception – please ensure you maintain social distancing while coming to collect your results.

Parents are not allowed on the school site unless collecting results for an absent student.  If so, they must have the written consent of the student and photographic ID such as a passport.

Please note that only a family member over the age of 18 years can collect for an absent student.

Members of the Leadership Team will be available on Results Day and if students would like any support with their transition or wish to discuss their final GCSE results they are requested to contact the school on and an appointment will be arranged.
