Icknield High School is a highly successful 11-16 mixed Academy with an excellent reputation, situated in pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town. Teacher of Science

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious, inspirational and highly motivated Science Teacher to join our well-resourced Science department.

The successful candidate will be able to display and promote excellence in teaching and learning and have the ability to make a real difference to the outcomes of our students

Teacher of Visual Art

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Art specialist to work within our successful and outstanding Art department.

The ideal applicant will have a diverse artistic background, with the creativity and adaptability to teach across a range of creative disciplines including Art, Graphics and Textiles at GCSE.

Current Support Staff Vacancies

Human Resources Manager

Salary: M3 £37306 pro rata (Actual £33217) 37 hours per week term time + 2 weeks

Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and committed Human Resources Manager to provide high quality professional support to the School. The key duties will involve offering advice and guidance to the Leadership Team on a range of HR issues and play a lead role in the development of efficient and effective working practices across the School. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills which can be deployed in a wide range of contexts and a sound knowledge of employment law.

Hours are 37 per week, term time plus 2 weeks which would include School INSET days.
Ideally any applicant would have a background in School/Education Human Resources but this is not essential as support will be provided to the successful candidate.

Student Receptionist

Salary: L3 pts 16-19 for 27.5 hours a week £10,879
Plus L4 pts 20 for 5 hours First Aid cover a week £2216
Total 32.5 hours – £13,095 Term time only
Hours – 8.30am – 3.30pm

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional and active team player to join our pastoral team. If you are organised, hardworking and committed to maintain the high standards set by the school, we would welcome hearing from you.

Applicants will be expected to have sound administrative skills, have experience of working in a school environment or similar, with good verbal and written communication skills when dealing with adults and students, with a knowledge of SIMS desirable. Applicants will be expected to work effectively as part of a team and meet the demands of a busy Student Reception.
